SEE SCHEDULE OTHE ADVENTIST DEVELOPMENT AND RELIEF AGENCY (ADRA) INTERNATIONAL WORKS IN MORE THAN 120 COUNTRIES WITH MILLIONS OF PEOPLE IN POVERTY AND DISTRESS TO CREATE JUST AND POSITIVE CHANGE THROUGH EMPOWERING PARTNERSHIPS AND RESPONSIBLE ACTION. ADRA COLLABORATES WITH COMMUNITIES, ORGANIZATIONS, AND GOVERNMENTS TO IMPROVE QUALITY OF LIFE BY PROVIDING ACCESS TO FOOD, CLEAN DRINKING WATER, AGRICULTURAL ASSISTANCE, BASIC HEALTH CARE AND DISEASE PREVENTION, EDUCATION, MICRO-CREDITS, VOCATIONAL TRAINING, AND EMERGENCY RELIEF. ADRA INITIATIVES DEVELOP HUMAN CAPACITY, INCREASE SELF-RELIANCE, MEET CHRONIC NEEDS, AND EMPOWER COMMUNITIES TO SURVIVE CRISIS. ADRA EMPHASIZES SUSTAINABLE, COMMUNITY-BASED PROGRAMS THAT IMPROVE ACCESS TO SERVICES FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN AND INVOLVE LOCAL PARTICIPATION IN PLANNING IMPLEMENTATION, MONITORING AND EVALUATION.
