1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using 501(see) ("Service"), operated by 501(see) ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

501(see) provides access to nonprofit organization data derived from publicly available IRS Form 990 electronic filings. The Service includes search, browsing, and data access features available through free and paid subscription plans.

3. Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid features are available through subscription plans. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Scrape, crawl, or otherwise programmatically access the Service without our written consent
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service or its data
Use data obtained from the Service to harass, stalk, or harm any individual or organization

6. Data Accuracy

The data provided through the Service is sourced from publicly available IRS filings and is provided "as is." While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all data is complete, current, or error-free. You should independently verify any data before relying on it for material decisions.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, software, and branding, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The underlying IRS data is public domain, but our selection, arrangement, presentation, and any derived analytics are proprietary.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 501(see) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Tennessee.
