Caridad Center's mission is to upgrade the health, education, and living standards of underserved children and families residing in Palm Beach County. More than 500 volunteer doctors, dentists, and other healthcare professionals served the uninsured (continues on Sch O) and underinsured of Palm Beach County in fiscal year 2023/2024. Though the number of volunteers continues to be lower than pre-pandemic levels, the needs of the community continue being met at a high level through the efforts of our volunteers, our dedicated and flexible staff, and through close partnerships with other community social service agencies and state and local government entities.
