Mission

THE INSTITUTE OF INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION, INC. (THE "INSTITUTE") IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT WAS ORGANIZED AND OPERATES EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES TO PROMOTE INTERNATIONAL EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL EXCHANGES. (SEE SCHEDULE O).ORGANIZATION'S MISSION STATEMENT (CONTINUED):THE INSTITUTE'S PROGRAMS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, MANAGING FELLOWSHIPS AND SCHOLARSHIPS; ASSISTING THREATENED STUDENTS AND SCHOLARS THROUGH ITS SCHOLAR RESCUE FUND, EMERGENCY STUDENT FUND, AND OTHER EFFORTS; DEVELOPING LEADERS BY BUILDING LEADERSHIP SKILLS AND ENHANCING THE CAPACITY OF INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANIZATIONS TO ADDRESS LOCAL AND GLOBAL CHALLENGES; PROVIDING STRATEGIC RESOURCES AND SERVICES TO HELP FACULTY AND ADMINISTRATORS PROMOTE INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE; HELPING INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION BUILD CAPACITY; PROVIDE SERVICES TO ADVANCE SCHOLARSHIP AND BUILD ECONOMIES; AND ENGAGING IN RESEARCH, DIALOGUE AND OTHER ACTIVITIES IN FURTHERANCE OF ITS PURPOSE.
