SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE, INC. (THE "FOOD BANK OR "SECOND HARVEST") WAS FOUNDED IN 1978. ITS MISSION IS TO NOURISH AND EMPOWER PEOPLE SO THEY CAN THRIVE. THE FOOD BANK IS ONE OF MORE THAN 200 CERTIFIED MEMBERS OF FEEDING AMERICA, THE NATION'S FOOD BANK NETWORK (THE "NETWORK").
