TO PROMOTE THE SOCIAL WELFARE OF THE RESIDENTS OF WISCONSIN BY PROMOTING, DEVELOPING, AND ENCOURAGING DISTRIBUTION OF INFORMATION ABOUT WISCONSIN'S ECONOMIC CLIMATE AND THE IMPORTANCE OF JOB CREATION AND TO FOSTER AND COORDINATE THE DEVELOPMENT OF PUBLIC POLICIES THAT WILL LEAD TO GREATER ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY.
